Welcome to the SCP Meta Wiki. This wiki serves as a place to contain all information related to SCP, including the SCP Universe such as how an SCP works, Meta Information like authors and inspirations, and creative works surrounding SCP like Video Games or Animations. This wiki is NOT in-universe, treat this wiki same as you would for any other wiki about any other creative fictional work.
All of the information on this wiki is taken from, or taken from media that took from, The SCP Foundation Wiki. Each respective article will give the name of their respective author, artist, designer, or what-have-you.

Rules
- The standard. You know, no vandalism, no spam, no bigotry, no self advertising, don't be hateful, have a good time.
- ALWAYS attribute the author to any work from the SCP Wiki.
- In the event that you are making an article on a person, please place either (Character) or (Person) in the title. (Character) to indicate that it is them in fiction, (Person) to indicate that it is them out of universe.
- Clinical tone is not required, but please try to be objective about things.
What to write about
Due to the collaborative and open nature of the SCP Wiki, here are some criteria of what should and should not have articles written about them. These are not hard-and-fast rules and there can be exceptions, please try to follow these.
What you SHOULD write about:
- Overarching information that spans the entirety of the SCP Universe. (Examples: Amnestics, The O5 Council, or Object Class)
- Articles that appear on one of the 6 pages of the Top Rated Pages list on the SCP Wiki.
What you SHOULD NOT write about:
- Any article that is below a +250 rating. They are not known enough to warrant a page.
- SCP's from Series V or VI. They aren't done yet and are still being solidified into the SCP Universe.
- Anything that YOU have written. This can create extreme bias, information overflow, or removing of information contributed by others.
For me personally (DesertMoonGW), I will be writing articles that appear in The Heritage Collection (from highest rated to lowest rated), then all articles with a rating over +1000, then any pages that need to be made as they are linked in existing ones.

Wanted Pages - Pages that have a link to somewhere on the wiki, but the page does not exist.
Wanted Categories - Categories that pages are in, but does not exist.
Uncategorized Pages - Pages that do not have categories
Uncategorized Categories - Categories that do not have a parent category.
Short Pages - Pages with too little information.
Lonely Pages - Pages that are not linked to by anything.
Deadend Pages - Pages that do not link to other pages.
